Image Galleries
These galleries illustrate the progression of the various test devices built for research assessment. They include the so-called ‘flyback’ generator used in the IPC investigations, as well as more recent MRES developments.
Gallery 1: Starting in 2018 with an ‘Aspden/Adams’ motor format (see patent here), to establish a working prototype.
Gallery 2: Development of the ‘BEMF V1‘ device, incorporating PCB designs and capacitive discharge circuits to find the optimum balance of parameters for effective IPC.
Gallery 3: Including an early battery swapping system with 5 single-winding coils.
Gallery 4: Showing the V5 design for the research studies, along with an ‘open system’ flow chart.
Gallery 5: Development work for a magnetic resonance system and based on the work of the late Don Smith.
Gallery 6: Development work for the Electron Recycling Unit (ERU), another name for the POD MOD, originally invented by Scott McKie.
